Keith Wylie has a general commercial practice, with an interest in planning and environment law having been employed as an in-house solicitor within the Brisbane City Council dealing predominantly in planning and environment appeals.
Since being called to the Bar in 2013, Keith has appeared, both unled and with senior counsel, in trial and appellate court proceedings.
Keith was previously appointed as an associate to his Honour Judge Rackemann, after completing a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours through the Queensland University of Technology. Since being called to the Bar, Keith has also completed a Master of Laws through the University of Queensland.
Prior to entering the law, Keith pursued a successful military aviation career as an Army Officer and helicopter pilot, achieving the rank of Major. He is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy and completed aeronautical engineering and masters of management studies degrees through the University of New South Wales, finishing first in his class in both degrees. Additionally, Keith has experienced operational service overseas as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot and commander.
